Goa recently opened its doors for The I Am Fashion Weekend .

One of the biggest highlights of the four-day fashion event was the award ceremony that felicitated the bigwigs of the fashion industry for their work.

The weekend flagged off with a fashion show by designer Raakesh Agarvwal, one of the honorees at the event.

Maverick fashion designer Rohit Bal was conferred with a lifetime achievement award. Other honorees included names like Rajat Tangri (designer of the year) and Karan Bhattarcharya (best new designer award).

The event aims to build a collaborative platform for professionals in the fashion industry, offering a forum for an open exchange of ideas and knowledge in order to showcase upcoming talent. With a strong focus on content sharing and eventually generation, the event aims to develop thought leadership regarding key industry issues,” reported a renowned national daily Times of India.
