Rallies and protest events are a part of political life in the Bay Area. Here’s a roundup of what’s happening this week.

Tuesday:
Rally aimed at Feinstein:

The event is being held at the Montgomery Street BART Station, 598 Market St., San Francisco, and end outside Feinstein’s office, 1 Post Station. In the event a call for Senator Dianne Feinstein not to strike compromises with Donald Trump’s administration. Event will start at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday:

Sanctuary panel:
It is being held at 3271 18th St., San Francisco. In the event, panels talk on sanctuary cities will be held, as well as well as stories of immigration challenges. The event will feature immigration attorneys and former members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors

Privacy meeting:
This event is being hosted by the Oakland Privacy Working Group to organize against “the surveillance state, against Urban Shield and to advocate for privacy and surveillance regulation ordinances to be passed around the Bay Area.”

The event is beings at 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Double Dutch, 350 Rhode Island St., Suite 375 in San Francisco. It is a happy hour and a panel discussion featuring female entrepreneurs, Nevertheless, She Persisted: An Evening with Fearless Women.”

Friday.

Transgender Day event:
The event beings at 5:30 p.m. at SOMArts, 934 Brannan St. in San Francisco.

It is being hosted by the Asian Pacific Islander Wellness Center, for commemorate Transgender Day of Visibility.

Sunday.

Political event:
The event starts at 3 p.m. in Fiest Hall at the San Mateo County Event Center, 1346 Saratoga Drive, San Mateo.

The event is about “Take Back America” with U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier, and he will discuss the “California Congressional picture” and host a fair where attendees can connect with activist and advocacy groups.
