Two men were arrested by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office for allegedly robbing a couple at gunpoint, as well as brandishing a knife, and stealing cash and jewelry.

According to the investigators, the duo suspect 21-year-old Jacks Atiba of Sunnyvale and 20-year-old Yasindu Desilva of Santa Clara went around the Regnart Road area knocking on doors.

Santa Clara County Sheriff's Sgt. Richard Glennon said that, "But what's concerning about this case is that they are knocking on doors in what appears to be to find people that were home."  "To have them go into the house and lead them to their possessions."

"They're going to make those assessments on who's home?" "If they can overpower maybe one or two people,"  Lt. Elbert Rivera said.

"Someone that is on parole you are concerned that they're escalating." "That they're willing to take it to the next level to become more violent," Glennon said.
