In a very few and far between instances, we encounter people who decide on humanity over money and this businessman in Gujarat is one among them.

Jayeshbhai Tailor, a Surat-based entrepreneur, dismantled his Mercedes to save a kitten hiding somewhere in the car.

Tailor was on a trip to Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. They heard the crying sound of a cat and that is when his dog, who was also traveling with the family, got startled.

And then began a six-hour-long mission to rescue the kitty.

Good Samaritans, police and roadside mechanic joined the attempt to save the kitten. In a short time, Tailor summoned technicians from the Mercedes breakdown helpline to Sion. The car was slowly driven to an authorized workshop in Kalina, where it was partially dismantled so that the kitten could be safe and sound brought out.

It took technicians three hours to find the stowaway because it remained silent throughout, making it even more hard to locate it.

The rescued kitten also found a new home. Anupam Mhaske, an employee of the workshop who is quite fond of animals, adopted the kitty.
