Model Kendall Jenner is the latest victim in a string of high-profile celebrity burglaries in Hollywood. Her lavish home in the Hollywood Hills has been burgled on Wednesday night, where jewellery worth $263,000 USD was stolen.

According to reports, when Jenner returned to her home at around 8 p.m., she did not notice anything out of ordinary for several hours. But, when she went into her bedroom, she realized that some of her jewellery was missing.

She called emergency services at 1:15am on Thursday morning (local time) according to the media, but police who responded to Jenner’s call did not find any forced entry was discovered at the scene.

Police said that robbery was an inside job, with evidence pointing to someone gaining entry to the residence earlier in the evening when the model was hosing a party.

Jenner said that she left with her friends at around midnight. When she returned an hour later, she found a jewellery box was opened and items were missing.

Before she left, her house the 21-year-old Victoria’s secret model heard an alarm go off- indicating a door had been opened, but she did not think that it was suspicious, as she was hosting a party at that time.

Jenner’s news comes five months after her elder sister Kim Kardashian was bound, gagged and robbed at gunpoint in Paris, losing 5.6 million USD worth of jewellery.

It's the latest in a spate of Hollywood burglaries, with Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morissette, Yasiel Puig and Nick Young also been hit in recent weeks.
