Story

Spectre is the story of James Bond (Daniel Craig) who will be seen trailing a batch of criminals. Bond blows up a whole building to kill a target which creates sensation. At this time he will be grounded by M (Ralph Fiennes) with the orders from the higher authorities in Mexico. Bond’s main mission is to kill the founder of a terrorist organization titled Spectre which will be lead by Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz) and they have been responsible for the death of M (Judy Dench) and Vesper Lynd (Casino Royale’s Eva Green). The rest of the movie is how Bond hunts Oberhauser. Watch the complete film to know about the rest.

Analysis :

 Spectre -review

The first 15 minutes of the movie makes your money worth. The action episodes have been shot fantastic and the movie dips down next. The main plot will be revealed early which makes the film completely predictable. On the whole the first half of Spectre is just ok and it doesn’t reveal much interesting.

The second half of Spectre too takes the same pace and some of the episodes have been dragged too much which kill the film completely. The action episodes elevate the movie well but the boring and predictable narration makes the film fall flat. The complete second half of Spectre is a complete downfall.

Performance :

Spectre -review

Daniel Craig manages to get pass marks and he just sails out fine. His performance is not that impressive when compared to the previous installments. Lea Seydoux is the new bond girl but she could not live up the expectations with the film. The chemistry between the lead actors has nothing much to talk about which happened during the past Bond films. Monia Bellucci has been old but she had a perfect sex appeal. Ben Whishaw is the only savior and his funny one liners have been top notch. Christoph Waltz is a major disappointment as he lacks the power of Bond villan.

The script has nothing much to do and it has been loosely written. The complete film has been predictable and the screenplay, dialogues have not been taken enough care. The music has been decent but the film completely missed the Bond theme which is quite surprising. The cinematography has been eye catching and top notch throughout. The production values have been grand enough and Sam Mendes could not re create the magic of Skyfall with Spectre.

Final Word:
Spectre is the biggest disappointment among the series of James Bond films. The action episodes and the technical aspects make the film just ok.
