Foods that help in speeding up the metabolism rate

Here is something nice for the people who are stuck up with work all day and have no time to head to the gym or workout and who getting conscious of their weight  getting increased.

Boost up your metabolism and witness your calories getting burnt which would make it easier to maintain your health and to get rid of the unwanted body fat.

Don’t be astonished when I say eating can help you in reducing the unwanted fat in your body because eating certain foods can increase your metabolism which would in turn help you burn the extra calories.

Foods that are rich in proteins:

Foods that are filled up with proteins such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, nuts and seeds would help your body in increasing the metabolism for few hours as the body requires more energy to digest the protein rich foods.

Intake of foods that are rich in proteins may also keep you feeling full for longer duration of time which would prevent you from over eating.

Coffee:

According to certain studies that have been performed, it can be said that the caffeine that is present in coffee can help in increasing the rate of metabolism by up to eleven per cent.

It has also been found in six other different studies, people who consume at least 270 milli grams of caffeine on a daily basis which is equivalent to about three cups of coffee can burn an extra 100 calories every day.

However, it is said that the effects may vary from one person to another based on the age and weight of an individual.

Water:

Drinking water not only helps you in staying hydrated but it has also been found that drinking water may also temporarily boost the metabolism by 24- 30 per cent. It has been noted by the researchers that about 40 percent of the increase in the metabolism is explained by the additional calories that are needed in heating the water to the temperature of the body.

Spices:

Studies have said that certain spices might help you in speeding up your metabolism. For example, according to the researches, it can be observed that dissolving 2 grams of ginger powder in the hot water and drinking it with a meal would help an individual to burn up to 43 more calories when compared to just drinking hot eater alone.

Another spice known as grains of paradise, which is also from the family of ginger would also show the similar effects.

Addition of cayenne pepper to your meal may also show an increase in the fat that is burnt by your body for the energy.

Coconut oil:

Coconut oil is said to be high in medium- chain triglycerides (MCTs) which is said to be contradictory to all the other types of fats which are said to contain long- chain fatty acids in higher amounts.

The difference between the long- chain fats and the medium- chain triglycerides is that the medium- chain triglycerides are said to go directly to the liver as soon as they get absorbed and it would be turned into energy which would in turn make them less likely to get stored as fat in the body.

Tea:

Tea is said to contain a combination of caffeine and catechins which researchers say that it would help in boosting up the metabolism.

Being specific, oolong and green tea which are types of tea may help in increasing the metabolism by 4-10 per cent which is said to add up to burning the extra amount of calories which is said to be extra 100 calories every day.

It has also been found out that the oolong and the green teas may also help your body to make an effective use of the fat that is stored and would be made use for the energy which is said to increase the ability of burning the fat up to 17 per cent.

Spicy food:



It has been found out that spicy foods contain natural chemicals which helps in increasing the metabolism at a higher rate

Adding a tablespoon of chopped green chilli pepper or red chilli pepper and spicing up your food can boost your rate of metabolism.

All though this can show a temporary effect in the start, eating spicy food on a frequent basis can show a better results as it can be observed that the metabolism may boost up for a longer period of time.
