Ingredients required for ragi murukulu
Ragi flour: 2 cups 
Rice flour:1 cup 
Roasted bengal gram flour: 1/2 cup 
Butter: 2 tbsp 
White sesame seeds: 1 tsp 
Cumin seeds:1 tsp 
Red chilli powder: as needed 
Asafoetida: 2 to 3 pinches 
Salt to taste 
Oil to deep fry 

How to prepare ragi murukulu
1. Dry roast bengal gram slightly.
2. After cooling, grind into fine powder.
3. Mix the bengal gram flour, ragi flour, rice flour, white sesame seeds, butter, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, salt, asafoetida and water in a bowl.
4. Knead it into soft dough. Set aside.
5. Fill the dough in murukku presser.
6. And drop them in desired shape in hot oil in frying pan.
7. Deep fry on medium flame for few minutes till they turn golden brown.
8. Fry until they turn crisp.
